About the Shot

Sonora Pass is a place all to itself. It is so incredibly beautiful out there and the snow is usually really good. This jump holds my favorite memories from any backcountry jump session that I have ever been a part of. Nicki Weiss charged it and really made it his own. I love what the black and white does for this image.
