The zeitgeist of Cuba summed up in a child's game of football in the dilapidated backstreets of Havana. With only one pair of football boots, the boys wear one each on their kicking foot and a flip flop on the other. Hardships overcome with resourcefulness, joy and sharing. The sun was going down over the crumbling facades of what looked like a decaying film set and I sat, photographing this glorious championship match framed against the arches.
