About the Shot

A cormorant fisherman adjust his lamp for the evenings fishing near XingPing on the Li River in Southern China. The fish are attracted to the light, the cormorants then dive and catch the fish which they then bring back to the fishermans basket. When they have enough to feed his family the birds are fed and they all return home happy.
