About the Shot
It's one the alleys in the Old City of Jerusalem when the early morning sun hits the pavement as a connection of two worlds, the spiritual and the terrestrial. No other shrines or temple has such a mighty aura as those ancient stones when in touch with the morning sun - a vivid scene of spiritual connection between heavens and earth.
The idea of a connection between two worlds through a mighty ray-like light is formed in many religions, and notably the terms Worldly Jerusalem and Heavenly Jerusalem as describes in the Jewish Talmud (Bavli, Taanit 5:1) as well in other Kabbalistic texts adopted by other religions, for example Augustine of Hippo's Civitas De
Also, in the New Testament, Apocalypse 21:10 it says:
"And he [one of the seven angels] carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God."
Or perhaps as it says in the Holy Quran, the earthy Jerusalem is the place from which the prophet ascend to Heavens.
