About the Shot

Ocean Beach, San Francisco, has a well deserved reputation for strong currents, large chaotic waves, large sharks, and a shore pounding beach break that can be fairly unforgiving. On this day windspeeds were 30-40 knots and fairly epic. Although it seems like a somewhat tranquil day of sailing, it was not.
