Barry Mansfield seems to end up in many of my favourite skateboarding images. Again he came through with the goods by climbing up onto a second story rooftop to do some tricks over a drainpipe. This was my favourite from that day, a nice big bs kickflip. Being on a rooftop the run up is very short, however Barry seems to have a knack for generating speed and pop out of nowhere so he was perfectly suited to a spot like this one. After landing a few of these and several other tricks, local law enforcement showed up just in time to ask Barry why the hell he was risking his life to skate on a second story rooftop. Luckily we had already captured many great photos and the police understood that this rooftop looks like it was purpose built for skateboarding. So they showed a bit of leniency and let us off with a warning.
