I took this photo on the last day of August of this year. The image is taken just off my deck of my home in Lions Bay , BC. The body of water is the Howe sound a small arm of the Pacific Ocean. The Islands in the Background are Bowen Island , Hut island and Keats.. as well as Vancouver Island in the Background. The Boat is a BC ferry with approx capacity of 300 vehicles. The Sunset was incredible this evening and as it went on.. the colours just turned this beautiful Pastel Colours. I set up the tripod and 5D MARK II along with my 70-200mm lens. This shot was taken at a 188mm Focal length, bumped the Iso up to 3200 and came up with this image. It didnt hurt that the moon was in full Shiva affect along with the blurry tree in the front i was quite happy with how it turned out
