This was my other shot of the Plumas County Wildfire. A slightly different angle without the trees in the background. I was trying to capture all the aspects of how surreal the day was with the colors, the fire, the mood, thoughts of the firefighters working, wildlife struggling to find homes and running away from the fire, etc. It almost felt as if we were walking on another planet! Very strange.
