About the Shot

Ric Moxon in the Nymph pool on Tatlow Creek, Ashlu drainage, BC. Possibly one of the most beautiful places to float through in a kayak, crystal clear aqua water with end of the day light streaming through the old growth forest. Tatlow creek is usually photographed for it's extreme nature, the run providing 15 over 10ft waterfalls in a 4 km descent, ranging from 40fters to 10fters and everything in between. I wanted to take a slightly different look at the creek and hopefully capture some of the beauty of the pristine water in the canyon, that day we got very lucky capturing the very last light of the day which cuts through the trees sending streams of light through the water.
