When you are very south in the southern hemisphere at certain times of year the sun is at a very low angle and if you are patient enough can provide some amazing opportunities to capture spectacular sunrises. This image was one exposure and was tricky to get both the detail in the clouds and the sand. I was on way to shooting some twisted and bent trees but couldn’t pass up this opportunity.
